Our client is a 90 bed, acute care facility located 2 hours from Yellowstone National Park. This state-of-the-art medical center is located in a peaceful community in the mountains of WY and is accredited by Joint Commission. This progressive medical facility is looking for a full time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant with experience in General Psychiatry. The NP/PA will be responsible for seeing both inpatient and outpatient clients. Responsibilities will including assisting in the practice of medicine under the supervision of a licensed physician. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously in medical decision making and provide a broad range of diagnostic, therapeutic, health promotion, and disease prevention health care services. Will be responsible for taking medical histories, examining patients, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and x-rays and makes diagnoses. May perform those duties and responsibilities delegated by the board approved supervising physician that are within the scope of the physician's practice and expertise and within the skills of the NP/PA.
