We are seeking an experienced acute care HIM Director for our health care system located in Arizona.
Perform all aspects of an HIM Director for a our acute care facility. Oversees coding and transcription on top of the main HIM functions.
Scan software for the HIM department
Reduce failed claims
Reduced DNFB
Develope policies for the EMR regarding chart corrections such as amendments, deletions, and addendums
Lead on the committee to develop a Legal Health Record Policy
Reduce scanning turnaround time

Job Requirements:
Previous and recent acute care HIM Leadership experience required.
RHIT or RHIT + CCS
